Mette Greftegreff is a self-taught Norwegian painter. Her works are dominated by a tapestry of figurative abstract imagery and whimsical figures. Her work is seen with a mix of adolescent lines and shapes, creating a somewhat child like and raw visual expression in her works.

In 2023, Greftegreff debuted with a solo exhibition at Fineart. The exhibition, which included original works, sold out, placing her at the top of the list of best-selling female artists of the same year at Fineart. Greftegreff is exclusively represented by Fineart in Norway.

Her works can be seen on Artsy.net, Fineart & Gallery Christoffer Egelund

Her works are mixed media, most often combining acrylic, oil stick, sand, and oil to create layered and textured surfaces. Texture is becoming increasingly dominant in her practice, as she seeks to evoke a tactile experience for the viewer and bring a physical presence to each piece.
